EHR Integration Overview
Last updated: September 2, 2026
Audience: Practice administrators setting up an EHR connection between their electronic health record system and Bioscope.
What EHR Integration Does
Connecting your EHR to Bioscope allows the platform to automatically ingest clinical data for your patients — including conditions, medications, immunizations, observations, procedures, and documents. This eliminates manual file uploads for data already in your EHR and keeps patient records in Bioscope up to date.
Bioscope currently supports integrations with:
Elation (via FHIR API)
Cerbo (via REST API)
How It Works
Generate API credentials in your EHR system — this creates a secure connection key that Bioscope uses to read patient data
Send the credentials to your Bioscope CSM (Customer Success Manager) — or enter them directly in Bioscope Settings
Configure the connection in Bioscope — select which data types to ingest
Match patients — when you add a patient in Bioscope, the system matches them to their EHR record and begins ingesting their clinical data
What Data Gets Ingested
